Women’s Personal Training Philosophy

We believe in a partnership approach to fitness. Our goal is to come alongside busy, tired moms and empower them to develop a gentle, sustainable, and realistic exercise routine, one that they can maintain for a lifetime.

We help women to prepare for the physical demands of pregnancy, labor, and delivery, to recover from the strain of pregnancy and delivery, and to feel strong for the sport of motherhood.

1. GET OVER – A Pea in the Pod Fitness program aims to help the client “get over” many of the discomforts that may be associated with pregnancy, postpartum, cancer, or the aging process

2. GET READY – A Pea in the Pod Fitness program will help the client “get ready” for the extensive demands of labor, chemo, parenting, or activities of daily living

3. GET BACK – A Pea in the Pod Fitness program will help the client “get back” to previous fitness levels and activities of daily living following pregnancy, cancer, or de-conditioning, and in the case of pregnancy, to recover abdominal and pelvic floor function.
